MEMORANDUM OF CONSTRUCTION OF FACTORY SIGNED

Within signing the Memorandum of Understanding, the mayor of Nis Milos Simonovic, owner and director of the Italian company “Dajtek” Giuliano Zuko and Minister of Economy Mladjan Dinkic pact in Nis, announced investment to build factory in the industrial area Donje Medjurovo of Palilula Municipality. This agreement provides that the construction of Factory start in September this year, and production will start in September 2011th. City of Nis on time provided all the documentation and as the first city in Serbia gave free of charge land for the construction of factory under the new law of planning and construction.

Investment of Italian company “Dajtek”in Nis, is worth 12 million euros, and in the units of the new factory will be employed 400 workers. The Serbian Government, according to the new regulations, in support of the Italian investor, awarded a maximum of 10,000 euros per newly employed. Company “Dajtek”, whose annual turnover is 270 million euros, this will be the eighth factory in the world. From Nis it will supply its products to “Mercedes”, “Renault”, “General Motors” and “Fiat”. The entire production will be directly or through “Fiat” in Kragujevac go to export.

After the South Korean company Jura (Iura Corporation), which already has a factory in Raca and invests seven million euros in new production plant in Nis, and after agreement with Italian company of the new investment, the industrial area of Donje Medjurovo, will provide employment for over 2,000 workers. “Jura” is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of electronic distribution systems for the automotive industry. The company employs more than 50,000 people and in 2009. achieved a turnover of  700 million across the Group. The company bought in Serbia “Zastava Elektro” for about 3 million euros.
